ONE - Final Trailer

Overall, we are pleased with the appearance and professionalism of the trailer. The colour palette is consistent throughout, with drab colours presented towards the end of the trailer as the characters begin to panic, which is equally represented by the short shot durations of the montage.

The music is a huge highlight of the trailer (backed up by audience feedback, where audience members stated that they felt the music really enhanced the dramatic feel of the trailer) and the ominous beat and low tone of the song 'Madness' by Ruelle gives a sense of disparity.
The other song used, Genesis by Ruelle, was quieter and slower, but provided the perfect spooky aura to reflect the desolate setting of the church, which in turn became a character in itself through multiple shots in the montage.

We managed to use a variety of shot types, including a match-on-action shot between the books when Amelia is holding them in her house and in front of the church, effortlessly allowing us to transition from one location to another. The acting was also believable, which once again made the trailer appear more professional as a whole.

However, there were some tasks we could not complete, such as more glowing numbers in the scenes due to the lack of advanced technology. We were restricted by iMovie, and were unable to create animations of moving numbers to go in the montage because of this, and the unavailability of software such as Adobe After Effects CC.
